Get Involved at NorthStar
What level of involvement are you looking for? Let us know what you are interested in and we'll be thrilled to find you a place on a team. Some options are:
- Volunteer for 12 Step Work: Many NorthStar attenders are passionate about serving others. Those who are familiar with the recovery community call this 12-step work; others call it ministry. Either way, if you're interested in helping, there's no doubt a place of service just waiting for you to volunteer! Contact our Minister of Mobilization (info@NorthStarCommunity.com)
- Plugging to a group: For an intimate group, we have several options.
- Men, women, youth and children's Bible studies are available on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. at Bon Air Elementary School. Join a group anytime.
Childcare is available for preschoolers at Bon Air Baptist Church. If you want to take advantage of these services, we'll be glad to help you make the necessary arrangements.
- Support Groups run during the week on a variety of special interest topics. Check out our schedule for date, time and location.
- Home Study Groups organize twice a year, January and August and run for 12 weeks. These groups require a high level of committment and intimacy.
- If you are at home join us in TV Land (central Richmond, Virginia viewing area): You can join us from the comfort of your home each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. on WTVR-TV6.
- Join us in person: Visit us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. at Bon Air Elementary School. We have refreshments, music and teachings on the Christ-centered 12 steps.
