- Tom Bannard, who works with Rams in Recovery, has created a list of recommendations for families who are new to recovery. To see his document, "Actions to Take for Families," click here.
- Recovery contracts. When living with an addict, a recovery contract is key. It voices clear expectations for how the relationship is going to work and clear consequences for what happens when the contract is breached. The contract keeps us from getting wrapped up in an endless cycle of arguments and gives us a simple way to communicate what is (and what is not) tolerable behavior.
